HM Revenue and Customs have introduced a series of incentive payments for small employers who file their Annual Returns electronically. A small employer is defined as having less than 50 employees so all of our clients have the potential to benefit from this payment.
The payments have unfortunately been dropping over a pre defined period with 2008/2009 tax year being the last to have the payment credited.
This credit is £75 and will normally be deducted from your first tax bill of the new year. If you do not have a bill (e.g your nanny may have left) then a cheque can be raised.
