Important update to live-in Nannies’ salaries from April 2024.
On the 23rd of January 2024 new National Minimum Wage legislation was laid before Parliament and approved by both Houses.
The result of this update (taking effect from April 2024) is that live-in employees must now be paid at least the National Minimum Wage, which is due to increase to £11.44 per hour gross (for employees aged 21 and over) from April 2024.
